FREMONT/NEWARK DAY CAMP

Summer FUN begins at the Fremont/Newark YMCA Day Camp! We provide fun and challenging activities for campers entering grades K through 8th and leadership opportunities for youth entering grades 9th through 11th. We believe in helping children and youth experience personal growth and development in spirit, mind, and body. All activities are appropriate for the age and skill level of each camper.

Incorporating the YMCA’s core values of caring, responsibility, honesty and respect into our Day Camp program gives campers the chance to learn about themselves and their community in a safe and supportive atmosphere -—all while having the time of their lives! Whether its sports, games or outdoor activities or creative art, music and special events, our traditional Day Camps and specialty and sports camps will spark campers’ interest and imagination.

2010 Summer Day Camp Dates

Week 1: June 21 - 25
Week 2: June 28 - July 2
Week 3: July 5 - 9 (closed July 5 in observance of 4th of July Holiday)
Week 4: July 12 - 16
Week 5: July 19- 23
Week 6: July 26 - July 30
Week 7: August 2 - 6
Week 8: August 9 - 13
Week 9: August 16 - 20
Week 10: August 23 - 27
All Week 10 camps will be held at the Main YMCA Regular Camp Hours: 9 am - 4 pm

Extended hours 7 am - 9 am and 4 pm - 6 pm (included in day camp fees)
• Campers MUST be dropped off between 7 - 9 am and MUST be picked up by 6 pm ($1/min late pick up fee applies - no exceptions.)
• Campers should plan to be in camp from at least 9 am - 4 pm to participate in all of the activities for that day.

Traditional Day Camp Tier Pricing

Fremont/Newark YMCA is now offering a tiered pricing structure to enable families with financial challenges the same quality camp experience for their children as families without the need for support. No paperwork or verification is required, simply select the rate appropriate for you. This information is completely confidential.

Families who need additional support beyond the tiered pricing are welcome to fill out a financial aid application. All financial aid will reflect off of Tier 1.

Families who have a contract with 3rd party agencies, will be contracted from Tier 1 cost and will be responsible for paying any costs that the 3rd party agency does not cover.

Tier 1 is based on the full cost of campers participating in the selected programs. This rate reflects the actual cost of sending a camper to the program. $225.00 week

Tier 2 is a partially-subsidized rate that will help families who can’t afford the full cost of the camp program. $215.00 week (Choose this rate if your family has the need to receive a subsidized rate.)

Tier 3 is more heavily subsidized rate for families who need further assistance to send children to camp. $205 week (family has the need.)
