Day Camp

FREMONT/NEWARK DAY CAMP

The Y is, and always will be, dedicated to building healthy, confident, connected and secure children. We believe that all kids deserve the opportunity to discover who they are and what they can achieve. That's why, at the Fremont/Newark YMCA youth today are cultivating the values, skills and relationships that lead to positive behaviors, better health and educational achievement.

At our Day Camp your child will experience an exciting, safe community for young people to explore new things, build self-esteem, develop interpersonal skills and make lasting friendships and memories.

Camp Locations

Discovery and Explorer Camps: James Leitch, Durham, and Forest Park.

Adventure and Movin’ On Camps: Main YMCA on Blacow Rd.

All Sports and Specialty Camps: Main YMCA on Blacow Rd.

NOTE: Week 10 camps will include ONLY Traditional Camps and all camps will be held at the Main YMCA, 41811 Blacow Rd (See Brochure for specific information).

Week 1:   June 18-22

Week 2:   June 25-29

Week 3:   July 2-6 (Closed on July 4^th in observance of 4^th of July)

Week 4:   July 9-13

Week 5:   July 16-20

Week 6:   July 23-27

Week 7:   July 30-Aug 3

Week 8:   August 6-10

Week 9:   August 13-17

Week 10: August 20-24

Week 11: August 27- 31

All Camps Week 10 & 11 will be held at the Main YMCA

Extended hours 7 am - 9 am and 4 pm - 6 pm (included in day camp fees)
• Campers MUST be dropped off between 7 - 9 am and MUST be picked up by 6 pm ($1/min late pick up fee applies - no exceptions.)
• Campers should plan to be in camp from at least 9 am - 4 pm to participate in all of the activities for that day.
